Big Guitar Weekend is back with another stellar line-up.

Czech superstar Pavel Steidl returns to Glasgow for the second time; this year he shares the stage with an artist who is internationally recognised as an outstanding performer and educator, David Tanenbaum. 

Also joining us is Paul Galbraith, a fellow Scot who now resides in Brazil with an international career spanning three decades. Finally, the Agnew and McAllister Duo will also be joining the party as they celebrate their 10^th anniversary as one of the most sought after flute and guitar duos in the world.

This year as well as our usual offering of concerts, masterclasses, teaching and workshops for classical guitarist, we’re also offering a new Jazz Course. The Course, delivered by Kevin MacKenzie and Malcolm Macfarlane, both well know figures on the Scottish Jazz scene, promises to reveal all the mysteries of Jazz!

The climax of the weekend will be the Grand Final of the first ever Scottish International Guitar Competition. Following the first round, hosted on You Tube and open to contestants from around the world, the entrants will be whittled down to the final three who will compete on Sunday 6 November to win a host of amazing prizes.
